Zigor Barayzarra’s work is framed by the dialectic between construction and deconstruction of the different signs and codes, with the aim of situating them at the limits of representation. With a background based in digital drawing linking up with Pop and Minimalist tradition, in recent projects, he is becoming more interested in the poetics of space, in the temporary and usability of common ordinary places and how nature, language or people tend to fill the occurring distance or emptiness there.
